Welcome parents and thank you for your interest in Safe Sitter.

Founded in 1980, Safe Sitter® is the only national nonprofit training program exclusively devoted to training sitters of all ages, from teenage babysitters to grandparents watching grandchildren.

Driven by the vision that every child should be safe, programs by Safe Sitter® are medically accurate and follow guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association.

Why Bailey Training and Support? Our Safe Sitter class differs from other babysitting courses in the area by getting all the information into one day including training in CPR! After graduation your newly minted Safe Sitter will have all the skills needed to start their new business.

Parents get to decide….

Your child can learn many new things during the Safe Sitter® courses. However, completing a course does not necessarily mean your child is ready to stay home alone, watch younger siblings, or babysit. You decide if your child is ready based on his or her maturity level. The life skills learned in Safe Sitter® are valuable whether or not your child decides to babysit. Safe Sitter® graduates gain skills in responsibility, planning, and decision making. We have many wonderful stories of Safe Sitter® graduates who have stayed calm in emergencies and used their choking rescue skills to save the lives of

Safe Sitter, Inc. does not provide CPR or other certifications, release the names of graduates, or act as a referral source of babysitters.
